General Manager and Co-ownerJohn grew up in the popular cycling town of Shepparton, Victoria and spent much of his early adult life ‘in the saddle’ racing in the Victorian Open road series. Expanding his racing caliber, John turned his focus to professional triathlon, racing the international Ironman circuit and successfully taking on the coveted Hawaiian Ironman three times. John is also our senior, fully qualified bicycle mechanic and has over 15 years’ experience. John has a great enthusiasm for getting people of all ages and abilities involved in cycling, and is passionate about the bike brands and accessories we sell. It’s his fusion of experience and comprehensive knowledge of our bike brands and cycling set-up that guarantees his edge over the rest. |

Marketing Manager and Co-ownerSarah has been racing professional long-distance triathlons for the past four years and it’s her love for fitness and the outdoors that keeps her going. Also a practicing physiotherapist, Sarah can assist in correcting biomechanical flaws that may relate to your cycling injury. |

Bike MechanicNick is our most recent team member at Cycle Zone. He made the move to Mooloolaba from Invercargill, New Zealand and is one of our fully qualified bicycle mechanics. Also a promising road cyclist, Nick has several outstanding achievements to date, including: U19 New Zealand National Track Champion, winner of the New Zealand Calendar Classic and a Pro start in the Tour of Southland. |

Sales AssistantRobbie has participated in most forms of riding for over 20 years. After dabbling in triathlons and representing Australia at the World Ironman Championships in Hawaii, Robbie discovered his real passion – Mountain Bike Riding. He is a member of the Sunshine Coast Adventure Racing (SCAR) team, which recently qualified for the World Adventure Racing Championships in Tasmania and he loves taking his mountain bike out on the Coast’s hinterland bush trails for a play. |
